Chuck Todd is the man { 0 }
Working from home this morning, and I’ve got MSNBC’s coverage of the Democratic National Convention on the tube.
Chuck Todd has the chair right now, and I’m really impressed with him. I didn’t much like him at first, but I do now. He’s insightful, fair and asks good questions.
Many have wagered on whether or not he’d be Tim Russert’s replacement on Meet the Press when former NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw steps down as the interim host.
The only knock I have against Chuck is that sometimes it’s like he’s trying to be a little too much like Russert. He just threw to an anchor in studio with “Go Dodgers”, which is reminiscent of Russert’s “Go Bills”. (Of course, this could be his way of paying respect to his mentor.)
Chuck needs to find his own voice in which he feels comfortable. He’s good. He’s won me over, and I bet he’ll win over thousands of other viewers as well.
